Counterbalance

Capacity: Typically 1,000 kg to 5,000 kg, with heavy-duty versions going up to 12,000 kg.

Design: This is the most common type of forklift, featuring a weight counteracting the load to maintain stability. Available in electric, LPG, or diesel versions.

Ideal For: Versatile, used for multi-purpose warehouse material handling, and can operate both indoors and outdoors. (depending on the type). Commonly used for lifting pallets, boxes, and other general goods.

Reach

Capacity: Typically 1,500 kg to 4,000 kg.

Design: Reach forklifts feature extendable forks that allow the operator to “reach” deeper into storage racks. Great for high-rack environments.

Ideal For: Narrow aisles and high storage facilities, where lifting and stacking materials in multi-level racking/ shelving is required.

Pallet Jacks (Manual & Electric)

Capacity: Generally 1,500 kg to 3,000 kg.

Design: Smaller forklifts, often manual or electrically powered, are used for lifting and transporting pallets over short distances. Includes manual (hand-pallet trucks) and electric versions for easier lifting.

Ideal For: Short-distance movement of pallets: Perfect for loading/unloading trucks or moving goods within a warehouse, typically within 100-meter ranges.

Suitable for warehouses or retail settings with lighter loads and shorter travel distances.Low Maintenance

Order Pickers

Capacity: Typically 1,000 kg to 2,500 kg.

Design: The operator stands on an elevated platform that moves in tandem with the forks, allowing access to high-shelf storage.

Electric-powered, ideal for picking single items from high storage areas.

Ideal For: Order picking requirements, especially when working with individual items or smaller quantities, making them great for e-commerce fulfilment centres.

Multi-Directional Articulated Forklift

Capacity: Typically 1,500 kg to 3,500 kg.

Design: Designed for tight aisles and warehouses with limited space.

Includes both reach trucks and very slim aisle (VNA) forklifts that operate in aisles as narrow as 1.6 meters.

Ideal For: Tight warehouses or facilities where maximising storage space is crucial.

Side Loader Forklift

Capacity: Typically 3,000 kg to 20,000 kg.

Design: Smaller forklifts, often manual or electrically powered, are used for lifting and transporting pallets over short distances. Includes manual (hand-pallet trucks) and electric versions for easier lifting.

Ideal For: Handling long, bulky and heavier goods.

Combilift Range

Models: C-Series, CB Series, AGT, LC

Capacity: 4,000Kg kg- 25,000 kg. Multi-directional & Side loaders.

Features: 4-way steering system that allows for side loading of longer loads. Offers enhanced manoeuvring. Stand on options available as well,  3 Wheel sideloading and multi-directional will save you on costs as well as space- look at this as a 3-in-1 forklift.

Ideal For: Transporting long loads such as steel beams, pipes, and timber in narrow aisles as well as outdoor spaces.

Stackers (Manual & Electric)

Capacity: Typically 500 kg to 2,000 kg.

Design: Small forklifts are designed for stacking goods and lifting pallets to vertical racking and shelving.

Manual stackers are great for low-level stacking, while electric stackers provide more power for heavier items.

Ideal For: Small to medium-sized warehouses, and ideal for light to medium stacking tasks.

Telescopic Forklifts (Telehandlers)

Capacity: Typically 8000 kg to 25,000 kg.

Design: A hybrid between a forklift and a crane, offering the flexibility of an extendable arm to handle loads at different heights and distances.

Ideal For: Outdoor warehouse requirements, especially those with large or bulky loads that need to be lifted over obstacles or stacked vertically.
